Greetings! My name is Laura and I’m hiking the 2,600 mile Pacific Crest Trail as a fundraiser for the Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary in Stevens County, WA. Come join me in my adventure and make a HUGE difference for the homeless pets of Washington!

Celebrated my half way point and hit 1400 miles this morning as i watched the sunrise bounce off mt Shasta. It is a great day to be in the mountains :-)
Congratulations Dr. Beads!! Half way point! Post some pics please...We went to Chataqua yesterday. Skye rode as many rides as he could pack into 3 hours. He's going to be in the parade tomorrow with his TKD classmates. I am of course working so I won't get any pics for you. Can't wait to hear more on your hike. Keep your head up and your feet on the ground. Love you lots, Chica!
This has been an amazing journey to share with us, I read it to Tater (who we got from CVAS) when you put up a new post. Both our rescue pups love to backpack! I hope we can come hear your talk!
